Overcoming Change and Regaining Confidence: A Collective Tarot Reading Inspired by “Everything is Everything” by Lauryn Hill.

Hey guys! Spring is here in my country, and I hope you’re enjoying it too!
As some of you may already know, I love music! I just can’t live without it. Music and lyrics teach me so much. I’m also inspired by the fact that there are incredible artists out there whose work I can resonate with and connect to. It makes me feel like I’m not alone on this planet.
The other day, I was listening to “Everything is Everything” by Lauryn Hill. When I was a teenager, I was the kind of girl who would turn on the TV right when I got home to see if any music videos were playing. I’d sit in front of the TV, letting myself get lost in the music and art until it was time to do my assignments.
I love the chorus of the song, but I especially like the very first lines of the verse, which say:
“I wrote these words for everyone who struggles in their youth,
Who won’t accept deception in, instead of what is truth”
I highly recommend reading the lyrics. They’re really touching, and I can guarantee they’ll inspire you too!
Listening to her song made me want to do a collective Tarot reading to see what we can learn from it. So, here it is!
Disclaimer
This is a collective Tarot reading, so take what resonates with you. Please don’t rely solely on Tarot – trust your intuition, do your own research, and take responsibility for your actions. Always seek professional help if needed.
If You’re a Student
First of all, I can tell you that you’ll be able to juggle multiple tasks and maintain good relationships in the future if you work on building your confidence now, so don’t worry too much!
Right now, you might be stuck in negative thoughts, nostalgia, or homesickness, but trust that you have the strength to grow and become more mature through life’s experiences.
Nothing is too late, and not everything is lost. You’re not going to lose everything, so there’s no need to be afraid.
Your advice is the Six of Cups in reverse. It suggests that while you can keep your beautiful memories in your heart, it’s important to recognize that things change over time, and sometimes that’s a good thing. It’s time to let go of nostalgia and focus on whatever you want to try next!
If You’re an Adult
You might be deeply hurt right now, but this could also be a great time to connect with your subconscious mind.
You may feel stuck in the same unhealthy mindset, repeating it over and over, and probably don’t know how to break free from it.
The key for you is to figure out what you truly want and what you’re holding on to. This may relate to blaming yourself too much, thinking you’re not independent enough, or losing confidence due to aging.
However, my cards are saying that you’re still doing well, even if you’re feeling older. I’m in my 40s too, so I understand that there are days when you feel down, when your body doesn’t move the way it used to, and when you feel disappointed by reality and stuck in nostalgia.
But hey, wake up! You have the Magician in reverse in your strength position, so this is just one of the phases everyone goes through. You’re not alone in this, and you have the strength to find the brighter side of life!
In order to break free from nostalgic feelings or an unhealthy mindset, you need to figure out what you truly want and start taking action. You’re the one who can change your life – no one else can do it for you.
The Hierophant in reverse at the bottom of the deck suggests that some of you may have responsibilities towards your family or children. In the future position, you have the Two of Pentacles. With this combination, you’ll be able to become independent and mature enough to juggle multiple tasks while still pursuing the goals you desire in life.
Overall, don’t be too hard on yourself! All you need is a little confidence to get back on track, and you can do it!
